PetroMaterials Corporation respects privacy of the users of our Internet site (hereinafter referred to as the “site”). As well, we shall conform to the privacy policy described below for the personal information and use of such information obtained from the users who visited the site.

Usage of Information

Through various forms provided on the site, we may occasionally request the user to submit his/her personal information such as contact information (name, residential address, and e-mail address), demographic information (age, gender) and profile data (favorite hobby).

Such information submitted by the users upon registration may be used by our company for the purposes of marketing and promotion. Additionally, the information may be disclosed to the affiliated companies that are handling the sales and promotion of our products. However, we shall not sell or lease information that can specify a person to any third parties. Furthermore, we may occasionally transmit the information pertaining to our company and our corporate activities to the users, only when the user has given us approval.

In the event that the user does not wish to receive any such information from us, and if the user has also notified our company, we shall immediately stop the delivery of such information. Please refer to the section entitled “Selecting and Canceling Services” described below. The users can send his/her requests regarding the company information and services to our company using various forms on the site.
We shall then provide the user the information regarding our company based upon the contact information submitted by the user through these forms. Moreover, when a user makes any inquiries, we shall contact the user based upon his/her personal information.
The collected personal information will be used for the purpose to accommodate any requests made by the users. The personal information shall not be disclosed to any third parties who are not involved in our trading.

Our company may disclose the personal information in special cases where it is considered that the user may damage or interfere with the rights and assets of our company and group companies in other countries or other users who visit the site (whether intentional or unintentional), or where it is considered that there is a legitimate reason for our company to take legal actions such that the user specifies or contacts the person who may become damaged by the aforementioned improper actions taken by the user.

Security

To secure all the personal information is an extremely important challenge to us. Unfortunately, under the current circumstances, we are not able to guarantee that the data transmission through the Internet is 100% secure. Although our company strives to protect the users’ personal information, it is impossible for us to secure or guarantee the security of the information received from the users. Therefore, it is necessary that the users themselves take responsibility to transmit the personal information safely. We do our best to maximize the security of our system.

Usage of IP Address

The IP address is the numeric value automatically allocated to the user’s computer by his/her Internet provider when conducting Internet surfing. Once the user has accessed the site, our server records the IP address of the user. Our company collects these IP addresses for the following purposes: system management; monitoring the site; and creation of the collection data to be reported to our advertisers.

We shall never associate the personal information with the IP addresses. In other words, even though the user’s access status is recorded, the user shall not be specified. However, we may specify the user in the following events under cooperation of the user’s Internet provider and based on the user’s IP address: When we request the observance of the usage conditions of the site; and when it is recognized that it is necessary to specify the user for the protection of our company’s services, site and clients.
